Building The Foundation

1 Corinthians 3:10

By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care.

…But each one should build with care, what a powerful phrase! Don’t you think? God has put us in different places, maybe you are an engineer working outdoors with cement, structures, etc.. or maybe you work eight hours a day in a office with only a small window wondering what are you doing there… Perhaps I don’t have the answer to your question, though I wish did. But what I do know is regardless of what you do, this verse has the key to success.

“Build” is a verb (the key word in most sentences), the word that reveals what is happening is the verb.

Yes, every action in our life has to match our moral standards and reflect our commitment with God. Being a follower of Christ is one of the most or maybe the most challenging decision in our lives, and each one should build with care.

The Bible tells us to build ourselves up in our most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. Are you building yourself up? Do you care? If your answers are both yes, my brother or sister you should find a friend or a family member and share about it. But if your answers are not both yes, praise God! You are being honest, and that will open the door to the Holy Spirit to do more in your life and empower you to excel in your abilities.

Jude 20 in the first chapter tells us “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters”, if you are that person that doesn’t know what he or she is doing in life, I encourage you to remember that our God has a perfect plan through Jesus Christ, a plan to excel and in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

But each one of us, pursuing to be mold like Christ, should build with care.

God bless each of you, thank you for your prayers and support.
