Seedful Life

2 Corinthians 9:10

Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.

Definition: Sowing: to scatter seed over (land, earth, etc.) for the purpose of growth, to implant, introduce, or promulgate; seek to propagate or extend.

It is such an amazing thing to experience growth in the person you took time investing in, also getting to witness how God enables them to be a blessing as well.

This doesn’t mean that you have to come to the mission field or pastor a church to be a blessing or sow into someone’s life. Having a seedful life is to be always conscious that you have something to offer even in the surroundings you’re in NOW! You will always propagate, expand, and extend the Kingdom of God right where you are if you allow Him to use you.

You might work in an office 40 hours a week. You might work at a restaurant as a waiter or waitress. You may just be a salesman for a business company. You may feel like you aren’t equipped enough to make any kind of impact in someone’s life. “God doesn’t call the equipped, He equips the called.” We all are called to sow seeds, it’s your job to sow the seeds and then begin to trust God to water them.

Remember, sowing is to scatter seed over land for the purpose of growth. Just start by recognizing you are called to sow and let God start equipping you to start sow seeds of impact.

Wake up everyday and say “God, use me today to make an impact right where you’ve placed me. Amen.”
