Isaiah 52:7 NIV
How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!”
Praise God! Two of my good friends, Andrew Senor & Denae Schumacher, from Living Word Church, Midland Michigan are here in Honduras. Their hearts are full of Love and passion for people. This trip will enable them to share the love of Jesus Christ and witness to people from all different aspects.

This is such a blessing to be here. All my life I have wanted to go on missions trips, and this is my first one outside of the US. This is also my first time outside of the United States (unless you count Canada…). To me, this is a dream come true and seeing all of these beautiful and loving people down here has been such an encouragement to me. I am extremely excited to see what more God has in store for us while we are here!
Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to himmust believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Like Andrew, all my life I have had the desire to go on missions trips. My mom and older sister have been on several missions trips and every time they left, I would beg my mom to let me come. I always said “As soon as I am old enough, I am going on a missions trip.” So I went on the first missions trip I could after I turned 18 and that was to Honduras in February with my church. We were in Honduras for 10 days and at the end of our trip I was not ready to go. I fell in love with the beautiful country and the beautiful people of Honduras. As soon as I left Honduras to go back home, I missed it and wanted to go back. So I planned another trip with the help of my mom and instead of 10 days I am staying for 19 days. It has been such a blessing to be able to serve God along side others in Honduras and to reach out to those that have never accepted Jesus into their heart and showing them that Jesus has a hope and a future for them. I look forward to seeing what God is going to do through us for the duration of our trip!
